"No Man's Sky" has finally hit the market, with many fans relishing the much-awaited moment. The game is known for its sheer size and endless worlds to explore, but developer Hello Games is not quite done with it yet.

In an interview with Daily Star Online, "No Man's Sky" creator Sean Murray spoke about the possibility of releasing downloadable content (DLC) for the game.

"Maybe in the future [we'll have paid DLC if] there's some reason why we just couldn't possibly afford to do a certain feature without charging for it," Murray explained.

In previous interviews, Murray said that the DLC to be released for "No Man's Sky" will be free. However, it looks like they are not entirely ruling out the possibility.

Murray said that he was "perhaps naïve" for thinking that there will be free updates for the new action-adventure survival video game. However, he is still very keen on releasing new content for the already massive title.

"No Man's Sky" features all sorts of creatures, worlds, and missions. It offers at least 300 hours of gameplay and with the addition of DLC, it will certainly keep many players busy for a long time.

The "No Man's Sky" creator also spoke about the sort of changes or improvements to the game that will be brought about by new consoles such as the PlayStation 4 Neo.

"For our game, it's procedurally generated," Murray said. "So more powerful hardware doesn't just mean upgraded textures or a higher frame rate. It means we can fundamentally change the experience," he added.

He teased enhancements on the "density of immersion of worlds, or new types of worlds could exist" as well more accurate details on landscapes and other elements in the background.

With regard to the possibility of "No Man's Sky" making the jump to the Xbox One or Xbox One S and Project Scorpio for that matter, Hello Games is not closing its doors on that either.
