The latest game offering by Hello Games, "No Man's Sky," has continued to enthuse more gamers into exploring countless number of planets in its vast universe. There are many things to keep in mind, though, before a players decides to set foot on one of the quintillion planets in the game's universe.

For many fans that are already hooked to this game, "No Man's Sky" is different from today's big game titles as it does not make the players feel like they are playing an actual game. "No Man's Sky" brings the players to a long adventure where it's all up to them on how they would like to kick off their adventure.

Enjoying the picturesque view and having different experiences in every planet sure sound to be entertaining, but exploring this game would require a hefty amount of resources. Not planning ahead of an expedition may end up with the player exhausting all of his resources. At the end of the day, what really matters is that the player managed to survive the long adventure.

NB44 listed a few things to take note of before beginning a "No Man's Sky" adventure. First, the players must know that mining is the key to one's survival throughout the game. Mining for resources in several planets may not go that easy though, as there are creatures called the Sentinels that wander around. They often pose a threat to the players mining for resources, but the thing is that they will not do any harm to a player unless the latter shows signs that he is doing something bad. When a Sentinel is spotted, pretend like nothing is happening. Calmly drop the mining tools and prepare to leave.

The players must also take note of the beneficial and rare elements that they can mine. They should recognize the useful elements such as Oxides, Carbon, Thanium 9 and Plutonium. The rare finds such as Emril, Gold and Iridium must be put into safety keeping as they can be traded off in the nearest marketplace for a hefty amount of money.

Meanwhile, iTech Post suggests that the players should also choose the safest planet for them to make their transactions. They would not want to do business in a planet that is too dangerous and they may end up losing everything that they have gathered. It will also be very helpful if the player's ship has a functional scanner. If something is off with the scanner, the player should fix it as soon as possible before heading to a planet. A scanner will not only help the player to locate the best units for trading, but it will also keep him aware of the possible danger nearby.
