Nokia D1, Nokia E1 leaks show devices' features; Nokia D1 expected to come in two variants
Nokia was once the most favored brand in hundreds of countries around the world, but they have experienced a major fall as other tech companies have managed to beat the features of their devices. Now that the company is back in the game, Nokia D1 and Nokia E1 are already being hyped about.
The return of Nokia in the market has got the enthusiasts wondering what innovative features their upcoming products will have. This has led to some speculations that the company is about to announce the Nokia D1 and Nokia E1, based on the sketches that were leaked online, according to Nokia Power User.
The rumored devices are said to be announced in the first quarter of next year, though Nokia has been quiet about it. The leaked sketches are reportedly sourced from a credible insider, who happens to be the same person who leaked the Microsoft prototypes.
Posted on Baidu, the two images are said to be the rumored Nokia D2 and Nokia E1, sporting similar shell design, multi-tasking buttons and a home button. The "Nokia" brand is also seen at the top-right corner of the devices.
Both devices seem to be similar in most ways, but on a closer look, there are compelling differences seen. For instance, the home button of E1 is said to be circular in shape while that of the D1 is oval. This sparked another rumor that D1's home button was intentionally made oval since it will feature a fingerprint scanner. And since the images are only mere sketches, there is no way to tell if the devices home buttons can be pressed or not.
It was just this month when enthusiasts heard another rumor that Nokia D1C will come out, but has never been confirmed. Now, it is believed that Nokia D1C is actually the buzzed-about Nokia D1, which may come in two variants: 5-inch display and 5.5-inch display.
