'Once Upon A Time' season 6 episode 5 spoilers: 2 saviors finally meet; Evil Queen tears Charming family apart
In the much-awaited Aladdin-centric episode of "Once Upon A Time" season 6 titled "Street Rats," the paths of two saviors will cross, but not before the Evil Queen (Lana Parilla) pulls off a family-shattering scheme.
The next installment of the series will finally see the highly-anticipated meet-up of the so-called "diamond in the rough" (to be played by Deniz Akdeniz) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison).
The promo for "Once Upon A Time" season 6 episode 5 shows Emma and company arrive at Aladdin's hidey-hole, where they will learn more about his story.
A flashback in the episode will detail how Princess Jasmine (Karen David) recruited him to stop Jafar (Oded Fehr) and save the city and the Sultan.
The duo will head over to the Cave of Wonders come "Once Upon A Time" season 6 episode 5 to beat the villainous man once and for all, only for the princess to be captured by him.
Prior to the premiere of the new season, it was teased that the arrival of Aladdin will shed light on the mysteries of the savior mythology, which will lead Emma to learn more about herself and her responsibilities.
As she does, the Evil Queen puts in motion in "Once Upon A Time" season 6 episode 5 a plan to turn the Charming family against each other.
As per the synopsis, she will do so by tricking Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and putting Emma in a situation that leaves her no choice but to reveal a devastating secret.
However, Regina's (Parilla) evil half will be too busy pampering her sister Zelena (Rebecca Mader) at some point in this "Once Upon A Time" season 6 episode, allowing the heroes to reach Aladdin.
The savior is believed to have some answers on how to defeat the Evil Queen without having to kill Regina, which was what was implied in the previous episode after the death of Jekyll (Hank Harris) led to the demise of Hyde (Sam Witwer) as well.
More importantly, he has the knowledge that will make Emma a clear understanding of what it means to be a savior.
"Once Upon A Time" season 6 episode 5 "Street Rats" will air Sunday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
