More literary figures will be added in "Once Upon A Time" season 6, which is a deviation from the fantasy drama's Disney character additions.

Since season 5 of the series opened the Land of Untold Stories, more fictional characters from the world of literature will be included.

One of these characters coming to "Once Upon A Time" season 6 is Sinbad, the heroic sailor from the classic Middle Eastern story collection "The Thousand and One Nights."

A casting notice for the "Once Upon A Time" season 6 newcomer describes him as a "roguishly charming and quick-witted hero who knows the power of kindness but as of late has lost faith in his ability to lead his people."

The second character coming to "Once Upon A Time" season 6 is Scheherazade, who is the narrator of Sinbad's story in "The Thousand and One Nights" and the rest of the stories there.

In the stories, she narrates all these tales to the king so that her execution will be held off. It eventually was since the king fell in love with her.

In "Once Upon A Time" season 6, she is described as someone who "never backs down from a good fight and can go toe-to-toe with even the toughest adversaries."

Apart from these Middle Eastern literary icons, "Once Upon A Time" season 6 is also looking to add Morpheus, who is known as the god of dreams in the Greek mythology.

According to TVLine, Morpheus is "an old soul in a young body" and is good at reading people and hiding his true intentions, making him a dangerous individual to mess with.

"Once Upon A Time" season 6 will pick up from where the last season left off, which saw Regina (Lana Parilla) making a physical embodiment of the Evil Queen.

The premiere is titled "The Savior," as revealed by showrunner Adam Horowitz. It airs this fall on the same Sunday 8 p.m. EDT timeslot on ABC.
