'One Piece' chapter 853 spoilers, predictions: Luffy and Straw Hat Pirates to finally leave Whole Cake Island with Sanji?
After a long and arduous journey, "One Piece" chapter 853 may finally feature Luffy reuniting with and rescuing Sanji and, along with the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates, leaving Whole Cake Island once and for all. However, the decision to leave will not be easy for Sanji as he finds it difficult to leave his sister Reiju behind.
It can be recalled that in the previous chapter, titled "Germa's Failure," Reiju had been recuperating in the Chateau infirmary after being shot by Pudding. The latter finally showed her true nature to Reiju by revealing her sinister plan to kill Sanji during their wedding.
Reiju tried to convince Sanji to save himself and allow the rest of the Vinsmokes to perish under Big Mom's assassination plot. In an effort to convince his brother, Reiju shared a precious memory from their childhood and reiterated that his survival is what truly matters.
It is predicted that in the upcoming chapter, Sanji will look deeply into himself to determine what is truly important as Reiju convinces him that he will never meet a group like the Straw Hat Pirates ever again.
Meanwhile, Luffy, who managed to escape the Prison Library in the previous chapter, will be racing against time to rescue Sanji, as he too is aware of Pudding's plans. Reports suggest that he will locate Sanji while the latter is still convincing Reiju to escape with them.
In a surprising turn of events, Luffy not only rescues Sanji but also drags along Reiju. Reiju is said to be surprised by the gesture but it remains to be seen whether she will go along with their plans.
Will Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates manage to escape Whole Cake Island with Sanji and Reiju?
