'One Piece' episodes 767, 768 spoilers: Momonosuke's true identity will be revealed; Straw Hats to finally meet Raizo
Now that the Mink Tribe's secret is out, the infamous Raizo of the Mist finally shows himself in the next episode of the Japanese anime series, "One Piece," and the Straw Hat pirates will hardly be able to contain their excitement over meeting a true-blue ninja for the first time. But first, Momonosuke will briefly be taking the spotlight with his own big revelation.
In the episode aptly titled, "The Third One! Raizo of the Mist, the Ninja, Appears!" Luffy and company will find out more about the alliance between the Minks Tribe and the Kouzuki clan from Wano Kingdom. In the course of this show and tell, Momonosuke's true heritage will be revealed. It turns out that he's a more important part of the Wano Kingdom than he lets on, and that keeping his identity a secret is just a ploy to keep him safe from potential enemies.
This game-changing revelation will also bring peace to the two factions on Zou Island after their warring leaders, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi, finally make up. Together, they will be leading the Wano samurais and the Straw Hat pirates to whale-shaped tree where Raizo has been safely hidden all this time. However, his appearance will be nothing at all like any of them has expected, and the Straw Hat pirates will begin to doubt his credibility; that is, until the shuriken starts flying.
The episode preview also features the samurai Kin'emon showing off the Kouzuki clan crest tattooed on his back, probably to further prove that he really is from the Wano Kingdom. Moreover, in chapter 817 of the manga series, on which the next episode will be based, Robin noticed a strange poneglyph in the whale-shaped tree right below the crest of the Kouzuki clan painted on the wall. This poneglyph could very well be one of the only four Road Poneglyphs that are said to contain details on how to get to the island of Raftel, which is the Straw Hats' ultimate destination.
What will Robin learn from reading the said poneglyphs? Will it be so valuable that Luffy forgets about his mission to retrieve Sanji from Whole Cake Island? The long-running anime series will reportedly be moving forward with growing momentum as it fully engages in the ongoing Zou Arc.
"One Piece" episode 768 is scheduled to air on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 9:30 a.m. Japan time on Fuji TV.
