'One Tree Hill' reunion news: Is Sophia Bush ready for a series reunion?
After some of her co-stars talked about some "rumblings" of a "One Tree Hill" reunion during the 2016 EyeCon in Chicago in November, Sophia Bush weighed in on the possibility of the rumored return of the fan-favorite teen drama.
In an interview with E! News to talk about her collaboration with Birchbox, Bush claimed that as much as she wants to reunite with her former co-stars for a special reboot of "One Tree Hill," it may not be possible due to their conflicting schedules.
"I don't know how I could cut myself in half to make that happen because I shoot Chicago P.D. for 10 months out of the year," the actress who portrayed the role of Brooke Davis in the series stated. "I guess if the stars align for all of the producers who have other jobs to do another job and then miraculously 15 people could manage to be free for a special, that would be cool. I just don't know how we would ever make it work, but it's certainly flattering that people want us to."
Rumors about the possible "One Tree Hill" reunion began when some of the cast of the series such as Chad Michael Murray and James Lafferty met up with fans during the 2016 EyeCon. The actors portrayed the roles of brothers Lucas and Nathan Scott, respectively.
According to the report from Just Jared, Murray confirmed that there are plans to revive the show for an on-screen reunion. Lafferty, on the other hand, revealed that he had no idea about the plans, yet he believes that the reunion could possibly happen in the long run.
While the series officially ended in April 2012 after its nine-season run since September 2003, fans of the series and a number of the main cast of the show constantly conduct a meet-and-greet and panel convention in Wilmington, North Carolina where the series was filmed.
