OnePlus 3T has just made its entrance, but its arrival has not doused the talks about the OnePlus 4, which is expected to be released next year.

The leaks and information about the flagship show promise about the device and how big the China-based tech company can go.

According to a leak on Weibo, the OnePlus 4 will come with two variants. Both will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 830, but one will reportedly have 6 GB RAM, the same amount its predecessor has.

The high-end model will have 8 GB, which means it will use up all of what the processor has to offer in that department. On the storage side, the OnePlus 4 is expected to house 128 GB, which is double than the OnePlus 3's 64 GB.

Interestingly, there was also a mention of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, which was recently announced. If the processor will be powering up the OnePlus 4, it should be a real flagship killer.

The processor, which is poised to "revolutionize mobile tech for everyone from manufacturers to users," will be the first 10-nanometer chip by Qualcomm, who partnered with Samsung Electronics for the production.

"Less space doesn't mean less processing horsepower, however. The 10nm node will help Snapdragon 835 processors achieve high-quality power efficiency and performance while opening up territory for new mobile experiences," Qualcomm stated on its website.

Other specifications and features of the OnePlus 4 according to the Weibo leak include 5.3-inch 2K AMOLED display and a glass-made chassis.

Another upgrade of the flagship will be one on the OnePlus 4's battery, which will reportedly be 4,000mAh, which is much bigger than the predecessor's 3,000 mAh pack.

With regards to the release date, the OnePlus 4 will reportedly be released a year after the launch of the OnePlus 3, which should be around June or July next year.
