'Outlander' season 3 spoilers: 2 characters from 'Voyager' added

Fans will finally meet the Dunsany sisters in "Outlander" season 3. The characters come from the novel "Voyager" by Diana Gabaldon, where the new season will be based.

Hannah James and Tanya Reynolds will play the role of Geneva and Isobel Dunsany, respectively in the new season of the hit Starz series.

According to the character description obtained by Deadline, Geneva, the older of the two, is "as beautiful as she is headstrong. Yet she's also petulant, spoiled and demanding of the servants at their home- Helwater."

The "Outlander" season 3 newcomer is used to "getting exactly what she wants when she wants it," which will play a part in how she and Jamie (Sam Heughan) will interact in the new season.

"Underneath however she has a vulnerability—even a naiveté—due to her sheltered life," the "Outlander" season 3 description of James' character teased.

Geneva plays a role in the life of Jamie during the time he was imprisoned in "Voyager." He ends up in Helwater where he will cross paths with Geneva, whose life will be changed by him forever.

Reynolds' character Isobel is described as "warm, friendly and genuine" and is plainer than her older sister. Despite this, she is "inherently more likable and compassionate towards others."

There is no word as to how they will be featured in "Outlander" season 3, but based on Geneva's description alone, fans who read Gabaldon's books will know what lies next for Jamie and his journey.

Apart from the Dunsany sisters, "Outlander" season 3 will also include another character by the name Jamie to be played by Conor McCarry.

He is the son of Jenny Fraser (Laura Donnelly) and Ian Murray (Steven Cree) named after Heughan's Jamie, who happens to be his uncle.

"Outlander" season 3 will begin with the Battle of Culloden, a diversion from the book. Fans can also expect more steamy and intimate scenes in the new season.

"Outlander" season 3 premieres in April next year on Starz.
