Over 2,000 people reportedly attended the funeral of a pregnant pastor's wife who was recently murdered during a home invasion.

28-year-old Amanda Blackburn, wife of Resonate Church Pastor Davey Blackburn, was reportedly shot in the head during a home robbery earlier this month at the couple's home in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Davey Blackburn reportedly returned home from the gym in the early hours of the morning to find his wife in their home, sustaining a gunshot wound to the head.

Although the wife was taken to the hospital in critical condition, she died of her injuries later on.

"What happened yesterday is pure evil. It is a terrible thing to happen to this family and to our community," Indianapolis Police Commander Dawn reportedly told local CNN affiliate WISH this week. "I know that we're going to find the people responsible for this and they will be held accountable."

"Some people have funerals, and then some people have celebrations. And in the 28 years that she was with us, Amanda gave us a lot to celebrate, would you agree?" Pastor Perry Noble of NewSpring Church reportedly said at the 28-year-old's funeral.

The funeral, held at Traders Point Christian Church in Indianapolis, was reportedly attended by 2,000 people grieving Amanda's passing.

"He [God] is what made Amanda special; He is why we're celebrating her life; He is why we loved her so much, because He just radiated out of her," South Carolina pastor Perry Noble added during his eulogy.
