"Overwatch" will be free this weekend on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PC, starting on Nov. 18 at 11:00 a.m. PT until Nov. 21 at 4:00 p.m. PT.

Gamers who have not tried "Overwatch" should take advantage of this event as this is their opportunity to experience the game's offering without any cost. Players who get to play this weekend will be able to enjoy several modes such as Quick Play, Weekly Brawl and Custom Games with 22 heroes and 13 maps. Unfortunately, newly released hero, Sombra, will not be included in the free gameplay. For those who are asking when they can play the game in their respective locations, a specific time is displayed on the "Overwatch" official website.

Blizzard announced that players will be able to unlock items, gain Loot Boxes, level up, and all other opportunities, players need to take advantage of the event. However, all these can only be saved once a player purchases a copy of "Overwatch" and continue playing the game. Players may be able to save their progress during the free play, but Achievement and Trophies will not be available at the event.

As for how to purchase the game, it is simple as accessing Xbox Live, PSN or Battle.net. Blizzard has not announced any special discounts.

It is important to ensure that the "Overwatch" free play will be able to download smoothly on any platform. This is why it is optimal to reserve at least 12 GB of free space in order the play the game. This is aside from an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus account.

Meanwhile, a new patch has already been rolled out for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Aside from the character Sombra, a new feature called The Arcade is introduced.

"Choose from a variety of regularly rotating game modes, maps, and rulesets that don't quite fit into Quick Play or Competitive Play," Blizzard wrote on Battle.net. "Whether it's 1-on-1 duels, 3-vs-3 skirmishes, our alternating selection of brawls, or special rulesets like "no hero switching," you should have no problem finding a game that fits your mood."

Other additional include a new area map called Ecopoint: Antartica, and a new season of Competitive Play.
