'Persona 5' news, update, rumors: Atlus reveals game's size requirement, new gameplay

New teaser videos reveal the gameplay contents of "Persona 5." | Facebook/Atlus

More information was revealed for the upcoming video game "Persona 5," as Atlus released a new teaser to give the fans a glimpse of the new contents added to the latest game installment. Moreover, the Japanese game developer company revealed the file size requirements for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of "Persona 5."

According to N4BB, "Persona 5" will take at least 20 GB worth of hard drive memory for the PlayStation 4 version, while the PlayStation 3 version will need at least 4 GB of HDD. The total graphics resolution of the video game could be at least 720p.

Atlus also revealed the new gameplay contents of "Persona 5" through the recently released trailer videos. The videos show the main players of the game having several choices of activities outside the Phantom Thieves. The first video shows the protagonist visiting a Maid Café as a customer. He also brings Morgana along with him for nice and relaxing time at the café. Aside from visiting these establishments, they can also apply for a part-time job to earn extra cash, Yibada reported.

On the other hand, the second trailer video shows the protagonist going to a public bath house. Interestingly, players should mind the time while hanging out in a bathhouse. As noted by Siliconera, the video shows the protagonist seemingly passing out due to heat exhaustion. It appears that people should not be overstaying in the bath house, or else their bodies will take up too much heat and feel drained. Still, relaxing in a bath house has many benefits for the players if used correctly.

As for the fighting sequences in the game, a separate Siliconera report reveals that the gamers are in for an action-packed treat as they will need to be ready at all times in case a random monster pops up in the game. The players also have to be familiar with the new dungeons in "Persona 5." Once they know how to get around the dungeons, they can avoid being lost or stuck in one place. In case this happens, the players can press the circle button to climb walls, take cover, or walk across chandeliers.

The players can now avoid a bloody confrontation with monsters. They can now talk to the monsters to convince them not to get into trouble, and the players can also recruit the monsters to be a part of their own personas.

"Persona 5" will be released for PS3 and PS4 consoles in Japan on Sept. 15. The game will be available in other parts of the world such as North America, South America, and Europe starting on Feb. 14, 2017.
