'Persona 5' trailer news: 3 Confidants and their contribution to win battles; see videos here
Atlus released earlier this month the identity of the Confidants with whom players will build relationships in the upcoming "Persona 5" video game. Three video trailers are released to introduce three Confidants, who are Sadayo Kawakami, Toranosuke Yoshida and Hifumi Togo.
Each of the "Persona 5" Confidants has special skills that would assure a winning move, but players need to understand their different capabilities in order to make most out of them. For instance, Sadayo Kawakami is a well-known educator at Shujin Academy, but she has a hidden second job being a maid.
Sadayo does not want her second job to be exposed so she keeps it a secret by dealing with the silent protagonist. The latter will be allowed to slack in Sadayo's class in exchange to keep her secret intact. This will be a disturbing behavior but an advantage to the players since the silent protagonist can take more time penetrating tools, reading books, and more. Furthermore, Sadayo can also be asked to do several household chores for a certain pay.
Toranosuke Yoshida, on the other hand, is a politician who cares a lot for his people. His track record shows no sign of mischief and he is known to be a humble public servant. However, Toranosuke lacks confidence and he is usually at the Shibuya Station giving speeches about corruption.
His words may not be taken seriously by many, but the silent protagonist can learn from his knowledge, especially in developing his speech. This would help the players unlock negotiations skills that can be used in battles.
The third Confidant is Hifumi Togo, a Shogi player whom the protagonist can spend time with in order to develop several abilities such as escaping from ambush, swapping members during battle, among others.
"Persona 5" is set to be launched on April 4, 2017. Who among the Confidants is your best bet?
