Hundreds are reportedly flocking to the San Francisco area of Putumayo, Colombia to see an area of dirt and trees left by a recent rock slide that appears to show an image of Jesus' face.

The Colombian newspaper El Tiempo reports that local police have been called to contain the throngs of visitors traveling to the area to view the image, while others have begun charging pilgrims to view what some say is the Son of God's face, present in the hillside.

"If you believe in Jesus, you will see your image," Ximena Rosero Arango, who visited the site since the image was created from a rockslide over the weekend, told the local newspaper.

This is not the first time people have seen Jesus' face in various inanimate objects and natural formations. Previously, Jesus' face has been seen in an underground rock formation in the Phillipines, as well as various food objects, including apples and toast.

Last year, a New Mexico man claimed to have found the image of Jesus in an apple while he was preparing a recipe.

The man, David Duran of Albuquerque, told local media outlets that he had the apple blessed by a priest.

"Maybe it's a sign from the Lord that maybe we need to change our ways and maybe look at things to be more positive in this world," David told the local KOB news station. "Like helping our fellow neighbors and being good to people."
