'Pokemon GO' tips, tricks and cheats news: How to keep track of nests after latest migration; new Pokemon to debut on Dec. 8?

Niantic Labs has employed the eighth migration in "Pokémon GO" since its release, which means that the nearby nests now have a certain species of Pokémon.

It is important to note that the migration, like the ones in the past, happens at random, which means that not all nests will see the change.

However, those who would like to know if the "Pokémon GO" nest in their area has been affected and what new Pokemon reside in these spots, they can head to a global nest atlas developed by reliable "Pokémon GO" source, The Silph Road.

The website will help players identify their local nests and the recent changes that took place. Some of the reported nest migrations include Mankey to Machop, Squirtle to Geodude and Charmander to Kabuto.

There is also a reported migration that replaces Jigglypuff with Onix and Bulbasaur with Shellder while nests with Sandshrew will likely see a flock of Staryu instead.

In other news, there are rumors going around that the long-awaited "Pokémon GO" Gen 2 update will take place on Thursday, Dec. 8, in partnership with Starbucks.

This information comes from a leaked promotion from the company. It teases that on the said day, "The world of Pokemon GO is about to expand with new Pokemon and a new Starbucks beverage!"

The beverage is the Pokémon GO Frappuccino. Majority of company-operated stores across the United States will show up as a PokeStop or Gym on the map.

The Redditor, alturrisi, said that he has a friend who works at Starbucks as his source. He said that on Dec. 8, an icon of the "Pokemon GO" Starbucks beverage will show up and fans will need to engage it.

"Once the trainer engages the frappuccino, it is unclear if there is going to be some sort of code or presentation that will allow that trainer to then go inside Starbucks to purchase it (customers that are NOT playing Pokemon go will NOT be eligible for this beverage ... this way Niantic can track if the event was a success). At the time of purchase, the trainer will claim a rumored-to-be UNRELEASED Pokemon," the Reddit user said.

He also said that the unreleased Pokémon will be "an exclusive spawn to areas surrounding Starbucks."
