'Pokémon GO' tips, tricks, cheats to level up faster: TutuApp enables location spoofing without jailbreak

While one of the main goals of "Pokémon GO" is to get players to become more physically active by having them get up and walk around to catch Pokémon, there are those who want to collect Pokemon but don't want to spend the energy needed to actually get up and walk.

For these players, various third-party apps have popped up enabling them to play the popular location-based augmented reality mobile game as they sit around at home.

"PokemonGoAnywhere" is one of these apps. It allows players to virtually move around on the "Pokémon GO" map without actually walking in real life. However, "PokemonGoAnywhere" was originally intended for jailbroken smartphones and tablets. Developers have since figured out ways of enabling location spoofing without having to jailbreak their devices, but the results have not always been positive. In addition, "Pokémon GO" players have recently reported that "PokemonGoAnywhere" has stopped working on their devices.

Fortunately, there is a new third-party app that acts just like "PokemonGoAnywhere," but it is even better because players don't have to jailbreak their iPhones or iPads to use it. TutuApp, as it is called, appears to be designed for downloading cracked iOS apps, but Cydia Geeks notes that it also hosts one of the top sideloaded apps for "Pokémon GO."

To use TutuApp, open its official website via Safari. Tap on the green Download button and follow the tutorial that pops up to get help navigating the app. When the app has been installed, open it and tap on the "Pokémon GO" icon. Tap on the green floating button to install.

Go to the home screen and open the "Pokémon GO" app, which should now have a built-in "Tap on Map to Walk" feature.

Cydia Geeks warns players against using TutuApp for piracy. It should also be noted that Niantic is now cracking down on "Pokémon GO" players who use third-party apps and bots, which is a violation of the game's terms of service. Players who have been caught doing this have been permanently banned from the game.
