'Pokemon Sun and Moon' release date, news & update: Fan-made Pokemon Team Planner tool for upcoming titles

In a few more days, Nintendo will be launching two new titles for the "Pokemon" franchise. The studio will be unveiling "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" for Nintendo 3DS systems on Nov. 18. Just in time for the launch, gamers can work on their strategy with a tool called Pokemon Team Planner.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" players will be able to access the tool online through Chrome and Firefox browsers. The tool will reportedly help gamers plan their team strategy, and secure their win. According to US Gamer, the Pokemon Team Planner is a fan-made tool that allows players to pick out their Pokemon line up ahead of the slated launching date.

With the Pokemon Team Planner, gamers can pick the most effective starter Pokemon for the upcoming titles. In addition, players can mix and match the best Pokemon to make a strong lineup. The news outlet also presented a list of the best Pokemon found in the upcoming titles. The creatures were sorted out based on skills, type and strength. Since the tool is fan-made, gamers will not be able to import the lineup they have made on the tool to the game.

A Reddit user said that the "Pokemon Sun And Moon" Pokemon Team Planner works best on Chrome and Firefox. The user also said that players might not be able to access the tool as effectively on Safari and Internet Explorer.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be launched on Friday, Nov. 18. Both of the titles will be exclusively available for the Nintendo 3DS.

The titles can be can pre-ordered from online retailers such as Amazon or Game. Each title costs $39.99, but gamers can purchase both titles for $79.99. Pre-orders made from GameStop will come with a complementary poster.
