'Pokemon Sun' and 'Pokemon Moon' updates: New games to offer strategy guidebook, a burst evolution feature
The highly-anticipated duo titles "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" are the latest addition to "Pokemon" video games franchise to be released by The Pokemon Company. The games are said to come with a strategy guidebook and the burst evolution feature.
According to Siliconera, the two new titles will have a 350-page guidebook. This official strategy guidebook as well as its collector's edition can be obtained by gamers via Amazon.
The strategy guidebook will include a detailed tutoring for the two new "Pokemon" titles. It will consist of lists of locations, strategical moves and items to be purchased. In addition, it will breakdown the vital tips for and hints at using the region's pullout map.
"Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will also be released with a burst evolution functionality. The idea of this feature is based on the manga series titled "Pokemon Reburst" from the year 2011 which was published in a Japanese Sunday magazine. It was in the manga series wherein the burst strategy was first presented. The burst functionality allows for the fusion of a trainer and his Pokemon into a Pokemon-human hybrid.
Burst heart is the item to be purchased and utilized in order for a fusion to come about. The burst heart comes in the form of a diamond prism. It is speculated that this diamond prism-shaped item is shown on the "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" badges.
Apart from these information, there are still not many verified details released with regard to what other contents the guidebook will have and what other features and possible surprises that the two new "Pokemon" titles will present once officially released.
Meanwhile, the three starter "Pokemon" partners for "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" have already been named. They are Rowlet, Litten and Popplio. Rumor mills suggest that there are some avid fans who have been able to decipher the final evolution types of the three.
The respective strategy guidebooks of the two titles will be released on the same date as the video games, Nov. 18.
