"Tekken" and "Pokemon" are two of the most iconic franchises in their respective genres, and they came together last year with "Pokken Tournament." Bandai Namco has just announced that poison-fighting type Pokemon, Croagunk, will be a playable character coming this November, and fans could not be more excited.

A new trailer released has Croagunk (or Guregru in the original Japanese) showcasing his signature moves, and it even has some of his supposed taunts in the game. The character is reminiscent of Lei from the "Tekken" franchise as he has moves that make him lie down in a relaxed position during a battle.

Croagunk will reportedly be a speed-type Pokemon in the game, and it will be using moves like Poison Jabs and Rock Throw. The trailer also gives gamers a look at Croagunk's Synergy Burst, an attack where he creates multiple clones and pins down the opponent using double team.

When he first came out in the game, Croagunk was actually just a support character, but now players can use him as an exclusive fighter. Some gamers have also wondered whether Croagunk can still be used as support, and the good news is, that is still an option.

A lot of fans are excited that the roster of characters is steadily growing. In the middle of October, it was announced that Scizor is going to be a playable Pokemon. Fans can only guess which other pocket monsters will be usable in the game soon.

Croagunk will be a playable character in the arcade version of "Pokenn Tournament," and Bandai Namco has yet to announce that the character will be playable in the Wii U version of the game. Data miners are said to have already found the data for the new characters, so it may only be a matter of time before players can use Croagunk outside the arcade.
