'Pretty Little Liars' season 7 spoilers: Shay Mitchell teases more Emily and Alison's encounters in upcoming episodes

Fans are hoping to see Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) end up together in the finale of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7, but Mitchell revealed that things may not be that easy for the two.

In an interview with TVLine, Mitchell revealed that her character and Ali will have several scenes together. However, it does not mean that they will finally have a happy ending. "As far as what the outcome is ... that's the exciting part about all of this," the actress stated. "It is the most romantic season, but Emily has also had a revolving door of many women, so it's kind of a toss-up who she ends up with."

In the midseason finale of season 7, Ali discovered that she is pregnant with Elliot Rollins/Archer Dunhill's (Huw Collins) child. This could be a big problem for Ali, since they all believe that Elliot/Archer is already dead after Hanna (Ashley Benson) accidentally bumped him with her car while rescuing Ali from her fake husband. It means that Ali will need Emily's help with her pregnancy and possible childbirth.

A separate interview with Pieterse on Entertainment Tonight revealed that Ali's pregnancy will affect all the Liars. "It's really cool to see how all the girls deal with that, and how Alison deals with it, and what her decisions are, all that jazz," the actress stated. "I mean, hey, we thought that she could — there's nothing more she could do but surprise you!"

The real identity of A.D. is also expected to be revealed in the upcoming episodes of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7. According to reports, the big reveal will happen as soon as the series returns in April.

The answers to most questions will be tackled in the last 10 episodes of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7, which will premiere on Tuesday, April 18, on Freeform.
