As reported by The Gamer's Drop, the Snapdragon 835 will be integrated into the OnePlus 4 and the HTC 11. It will also be used in other gadgets such as the rumored Microsoft Surface, the Samsung Galaxy S8, and the Xiaomi Mi 6.

Qualcomm announced the development of the Snapdragon 835 last November. It is set to replace the Snapdragon 821 as the company's flagship chip, and it promises improved performance and better efficiency compared to its predecessor.

The biggest highlight about the Snapdragon 835 is that it is Qualcomm's first 10 nm chip, which makes it more powerful and more efficient than the company's older chips, such as the Snapdragon 820 and 821. To accomplish this, Qualcomm worked hand in hand with Samsung to develop the Snapdragon 835 using its new 10nm FinFET process.

According to leaks reported by Trusted Reviews, the Snapdragon 835 will be using Qualcomm's own Kryo 200 processors, and the eight cores will be laid out in ARM's big.LITTLE configuration. Four of the cores will be high-power and low-efficiency cores for harder tasks, while the other four will be low-power, low-efficiency cores for basic processing.

The Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip will reportedly be equipped with Qualcomm's Adreno 450 GPUm. This is a better version of the Adreno 530 (with 519.2 GFLOPS and clickable to 650 MHz).

It will also feature the new modem Snapdragon X16 which supports Cat. 16 LTE download speeds. It has a theoretical maximum download speed of 1 Gbps, which is translated to a capability that allows a 100-gigabyte 4K movie to be downloaded in just over 13 minutes.

Although there is no official release date yet from Qualcomm, gadget enthusiasts can expect the launch of new devices equipped with the Snapdragon 835 as soon as the first half of 2017.
