'Quantico' season 2 episode 12 spoilers, news: Can Ryan and Alex fix their relationship?

Alex (Priyanka Chopra) will soon have to figure out who the terrorists are among the group of hostages before they attack her first. Meanwhile, there still might be hope for Alex and Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) to save their relationship after Alex found out that her fiancé is a terrorist.

In the upcoming 12th episode of "Quantico" season 2, titled "Fallen Oracle," Alex will be leading the hostages to safety, but she will have to extract the terrorists that are hiding among them.

The synopsis posted on The Futon Critic reads: "At the Farm, the recruits break into the NSA on a mission to delete all their personal information, but the rogue group within the CIA has other plans. In the future, the hostages strategize an escape via underground tunnels as a set-up to get the terrorists to reveal themselves."

In an interview with Hollywood Life, showrunners Cameron Litvack, Beth Shackter, and Josh Safran shared what awaits Alex after the terrorist event.

Litvack said that Alex will try to solve how and why the terrorist attack happened, while trying to maintain her identity. Safran then added, "Just because an event is over doesn't mean the terrorists are gone."

Meanwhile, Alex has unexpectedly found out that Ryan has been among the terrorists when she pulled off his mask while in combat.

At this point, Alex and Ryan have called off their engagement, but according to the showrunners, there still might be hope for them.

Litvack said that it is a benchmark for Alex and Ryan, while Safran said: "It's a turning point. When you ex-fiance turns out to be a terrorist, it kind of changes things. But all is not what it seems, and it gets answered pretty quickly."

There might be more to Ryan having the face of a terrorist, which is something that Alex might learn to accept later on.
