As seen from the PlayStation and Xbox listings, the "Rainbow Six Siege" Year 2 Season Pass will offer new gears and characters to keep the players interested in the game. The Season Pass also includes a VIP premium membership, in which a weekly early access is offered for every new Operator that comes out.
For specific details of what "Rainbow Six Siege" Year 2 Season Pass includes, here is a list:
- 8 new Year 2 operators across 4 complete seasons
- 8 exclusive headgear customizations
- 8 exclusive uniform customizations
- R6 Carbon charm
- 600 R6 Credits to purchase in-game content
As for the VIP membership, players also get a five-percent renown boost so as to unlock the in-game content faster, two extra challenges per day and 10 percent off items in the in-game shop.
To all those who have purchased the first season pass, this should be the perfect time to get the "Rainbow Six Siege" Year 2 Season Pass as the first pack has already been discontinued. This simply means that all expansions available in the old pack can no longer be played.
"Rainbow Six Siege" is already available for PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and PC. The "Rainbow Six Siege" Year 2 Season Pass can be purchased for $29.99 and the VIP membership will end on Feb. 7, 2018. Players who will buy the pass before the VIP membership expires will receive the Obsidian Weapons Skin as a bonus item.
Ubisoft has recently released the most recent downloadable content (DLC) of "Rainbow Six Siege," the "Operation Red Crow." The DLC introduced a new map that is Japan-based, which is worth noticing due to the addition of Japanese Yakuza enemies. Also, two new Japanese Operators were rolled out.
