Real Housewives of Atlanta News: Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks Part Ways; Nida Now Serving Prison Sentence
Another couple from the Real Housewives of Atlanta ended up in a desolate separation—Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks have decided to part ways after almost five years of marriage, reports E! Online.
Stories have been circulating online for months now regarding the marital status of the controversial Real Housewives couple ever since news regarding Nida's guilty plea for "conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud" emerged.
Nida earlier shared his thoughts regarding his case during an interview on The Ryan Cameron Show" last May.
"I think Phaedra, in a perfect world, should be supportive as a wife should be...But if she chooses to derail from the plan, then that's what she chooses to do," he said.
"Apollo is prepared for whatever happens in life. Whatever's been thrown at me, I deal with it. I would like to say I would want her to stay around and do what a wife should do. But tomorrow's not promised," he added.
In another interview with BE100 Radio, Apollo shared that his wife "didn't even f******* show up for my sentencing. I'm still kinda salty about that, but whatever."
Meanwhile, reports say that Phaedra is disappointed about how things have turned out with her now defunct marriage.
Apollo Nida served a prison sentence for six years for 2003 to 2009 for car theft. He married Parks after having served his sentence.
