Real Housewives of New York News, Cast Rumors: Bethenny Frankel In or Out?

How much does it cost to avoid someone whom you used to regard as despicable? $1 million perhaps?

That appears to be the case for former "Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel who reportedly has been offered that amount to convince her to rejoin the reality show for its Season 7.

But at this stage, it doesn't seem like Bethenny will be biting.

Reports have it that Bethenny is averse to the idea of rejoining the RHONY cast because her former co-star Jill Zarin has signed on once more for this season.

Working with Jill is a no-no as far as Bethenny is concerned, and apparently, not even $1 million is enough to sweeten up the deal.

Bethenny and Jill had a falling out -- to put it mildly -- in the past, and reality show pundits are speculating that the controversial "reunion" being arranged could be an attempt by Bravo TV to boost its flagging ratings.

That's what Bethenny is actually trying to stay clear from: artificially generated controversy. Anyway, she has other things to do than cozy up with someone she feuded with some time back, just to heat up some controversy.

The still popular ex-RHONY star is currently busy promoting her book "Cookie Meets Peanut." Aside from that, Bethenny is also working on getting two other upcoming projects with Andy Cohen off the ground. Andy produces the whole franchise of "Real Housewives," and whether she comes back to the reality show or not, it is clear that they still have good rapport.

So, although Bethenny has said that she no longer carries a grudge against Jill, her departure from RHONY in 2010 seems to be on the way to becoming really permanent.
