'Real Housewives of Orange County' season 11 preview: Vicki Gunvalson, Brooks Ayers getting back together, Tamra Judge says
Reality star Tamra Judge recently went on Andy Cohen's live talk show and shared that Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers are likely to be reunited. The former couple was also featured in the reality series "Real Housewives of Orange County." The two split back in 2015 following a controversy regarding false cancer claims.
Judge spoke about this eventuality Monday, June 27, as a matter of opinion. She believed that Gunvalson has not really closed the door on that part of her life as yet.
During her guest appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," Judge said, "I can only speculate but I do think they're still talking."
She went on to say that it can only be "a matter of time" before the estranged couple would find their way back to each other.
The show's host asked Judge how Gunvalson's new boyfriend, Steve Lodge, would figure in the story if that were to be so.
Judge replied, "He seems like a really nice guy but Vicki doesn't like a nice guy."
Ayers himself was also asked about his present relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Gunvalson, the day after Cohen's show. In an interview with RealMRHousewife.com, he explained why he and his former flame rarely talked with each other now.
"I've moved on and am very happy," the reality star claimed.
He went on to say that he wished Gunvalson the best but that he no longer has any plans to be involved with the latter as well as her family.
Ayers confessed, "Too toxic for me...Once and for all, we are done as a couple."
He admitted that he and Gunvalson though would talk now and then but denied that it was anything romantic or even platonic. Ayers explained that they had to keep in touch because of some business matters in which they had both been involved some years back.
"I'm only talking to Vicki because of the Vodka lawsuit from 2013," the Mississippi native clarified.
As for Gunvalson, it seems she may have closed the Ayers chapter in her life, romantically speaking, now that she has Lodge, who is a retired police officer.
The 54-year-old shared with Us Weekly that her daughter even loves her new beau and gets along well with him.
"It's my answered prayers. I wanted a family that could all be together at the holidays and could travel."
