Red Dead Redemption | Red Dead Redemption

"Red Dead Redemption" fans may have received the biggest news of the rumored second installment of the game. An image that is said to be the map of "Red Dead Redemption 2" has hit online and it quickly spread all over the Internet.

The image was said to be posted by a user Mideon on NeoGAF and it immediately caused some headlines in many different gaming publications. Although the user had already deleted the post, it has been saved my numerous accounts and reposted until it spread quickly on the Internet, making all players excited.

The leaked image clearly shows the Great Plains of America. The location is said to be the same as the Blackwater area of the original game. The maps also show islands in the surrounding areas, which is a good indication that the next installment may involve swimming or taking a boat to reach the remote locations.

Previous rumors suggested that development of the in-game maps has already been done and this new report may have just confirmed that. However, it is important to take these new details with a grain of salt. People have to wait for Rockstar Games, developer of "Red Dead Redemption," to make an official announcement before making any conclusion. As of now, the company decides to stay silent regarding the current reports as well as the old ones.

Meanwhile, there are reports stating that the next installment of "Red Dead Redemption" could be a prequel of the original title. This has yet to be confirmed as well but fans are starting to figure out how it will turn out once it comes out in the market.

This latest reports clearly give fans something to hope for after previous reports suggested that "Red Dead Redemption 2" may never happen. If rumors prove to be true, it is only a matter of time before Rockstar Games makes that much-awaited announcement.
