'Reign' season 4 spoilers: New glimpse at Mary's future husbands
Production for "Reign" season 4 is currently making headway, and the new cast members of the series have been sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the set to give fans a taste of the new season.
Will Kemp, who was brought on the show to play Mary's (Adelaide Kane) second husband Lord Darnley, shared a photo of him in character posing for a selfie before the cameras start rolling again.
He also shared a photo with his future "Reign" season 4 on-screen spouse Kane. Both of them were on a horse in the photo, which Kemp captioned "Lording it up with future Reign wifey."
Spoiler Alert! The following contains potential spoilers for "Reign" season 4. Proceed at your own risk.
As the history books dictate, Lord Darnley and Mary's marriage is cut short when the former is murdered. They were together for a year and had a child together.
Meanwhile, Adam Croasdell, who will play the role of Mary's third husband Bothwell, has also been teasing his entrance to "Reign" season 4. He tweeted about flying to the filming location, saying "16th century, here I come." He then shared a photo of his costume.
It is unclear if it is the same one he is sporting in the photo shared by Kane on Instagram during the filming, with hashtag "future hubs."
Bothwell is of course the man who weds Mary after the death of Lord Darnley. He is described as a "warm-hearted bad boy" who fought to catch the attention of the Queen of Scots.
Curiously, he was accused of murdering someone close to Mary. It is a mystery if this storyline will be featured in "Reign" season 4 as Croasdell, like Kemp, are only booked for three episodes, albeit with option to return for more.
"Reign" season 4 will premiere next year on The CW. Rumor has it that it will be down to 16 episodes because of the declining viewership and ratings the show got in the last season, but this has not been confirmed yet.
