"Resident Evil 5" will be re-released on PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One on June 28. This relaunch will be part of the celebration marking the video game series' 20th year. The classic survival horror shooter game will operate on up-to-date graphic features to be able to meet the requirements of the latest gaming devices' hardware.

The new version of "Resident Evil 5" will be running with a better frame rate at 1080p resolution on the current gaming consoles. Gamers will also get to experience again the released add-ons and the No Mercy mode on the PC.

"Resident Evil 5" will offer another multiplayer mode, The Mercenaries United. This mode will be unlocked from the beginning which means that the players will be allowed to use all the characters in The Mercenaries United. In addition, this mode will allow for shooting of zombies in a chain attack within a particularly allotted timeframe as in any gun games.

In the PC's No Mercy mode, the zombies alongside other terrifying creatures will be tougher to fight as they will be moving faster and swarming the players in a more slyly manner. The No Mercy mode is generally considered more difficult than The Mercenaries United mode.

"Resident Evil 5" first came to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC back in 2009. It will be one of the three "Resident Evil" installments slated for re-release this year in time with the game series' 20th anniversary. The other two are "Resident Evil 6" which was relaunched in March and "Resident Evil 4." The pattern of Capcom's "Resident Evil" relaunch is noticeably backwards. All of these three games will be available on the current generation of gaming consoles.

While the past "Resident Evil" installments are being redistributed, fans are also waiting to get their hands on "Resident Evil 7" which is speculated to be officially unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on June 14 to 16 in Los Angeles.
