'Resident Evil 7' news: Capcom reveals Ethan's fate with the Bakers in new trailers
The arrival of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is just a month away, but Capcom continues to launch new trailers to unveil some of the creepiest moments of the game.
One of the latest sneak peeks that the game studio uploaded in the game's official social media accounts is the live-action clip showing what the mysterious Baker mansion looks inside.
The 1:08-minute clip showed a mystery character trying to break free from captivity inside the derelict plantation mansion. He attempted to open all the doors inside the house, but the only door that he managed to open led him to a dark, murky place where he tried to make a hole to get outside the house. But it seems like the head of the Baker family attacked him from behind just before saying, "Welcome to the family, son."
While the live-action clip did not reveal much about the gameplay of the 11th installment of the main "Resident Evil" video game franchise, another video has been released by Capcom. This time, a lengthy eight-minute gameplay video with commentary has been released courtesy of IGN.
The new gameplay trailer covered four hours of the game that was released by the game studio. IGN's commentators Daniel Krupa and Gav Murphy noted that "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is a very hands-off game, in which players who will assume the role of Ethan will have no idea where they are going in the game as he tries to escape from the clutches of the Baker family and look for his missing wife, Mia.
The trailer also showed several recognizable weapons that appeared in the previous installments of the franchise, including a shotgun, a handgun, a flamethrower and a knife.
"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will be released by Capcom on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC editions starting on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
