Though a lot of fans are excited for the release of the third season of "Rick and Morty" coming out before the year ends, rumors are saying that it has been delayed. In other news, the show's co-creator Dan Harmon is reportedly keeping himself busy as he is helping develop a show for Youtube Red along with famous Youtubers, the Game Grumps.

According to reports, Reddit user PopDavid, who claims to be a design assistant on the show, has said that fans should expect "Rick and Morty" season 3 to have an early 2017 premiere date instead. PopDavid has also said that the news that the showrunners have been revealing to the press is not entirely accurate.

In other news Jesse Cox on Youtube says that Harmon will be working with the Game Grumps on an upcoming show that will be focusing on five characters who want to break into eSports. In the report, Cox was joined by Michele Morrow, and they describe the upcoming series to be staying away from pandering, and that it will give a "true look" at the eSports industry.

The show will also be bringing along writers and showrunners from "Rick and Morty," Erica Rosbe and Sarah Carbiener.

As for the involvement of the Game Grumps, the channel has already reached 3.6 million subscribers on Youtube, and it's said that the characters in the show are written specifically for members of the Grumps. Grumps members like Egoraptor (Arin Hanson) and Danny Kramer are expected to be part of the show.

Reports say that as of now, the first season is lined up to have six episodes, and people describe it as something close to HBO's "Silicon Valley." But instead of trying to create new apps and programs, the characters are trying to make it big in the eSports games.

The show is still untitled and it still doesn't have a final release date, but the good news is that fans of Harmon's work can tune in to "Rick and Morty" season three when it airs before the end of 2016; or, if what PopDavid says turns out to be true, it could very well come out in early 2017.
