'Rocket League: Starbase ARC' update: Everything players should know before playing the expansion
Several days after Psyonix announced the coming of the latest "Rocket League" downloadable content (DLC), titled "Starbase ARC," the game is already available for download. Here is everything a player should know about the title.
"Rocket League: Starbase ARC" takes the players in space as they revolve around an empty planet. Inspired by the "ARC Squadron," Psyonix promises that the game has "one of the most epic Rocket League galactic atmospheres yet."
The DLC offers several items for enjoyment of all players, including the Custom Training mode, which is one of the most requested features of the players. The mode allows the players to practice their creativity as they can design their own training sequences. This means, players can create, edit and share their "sequences" to fellow "Rocket League: Starbase ARC" players.
It is good to know, though, that the Custom Training needs a few information that the players should completely provide. Players will have to specify the name of their creation, the map where it will be situated, the training sequence type, the difficulty level and the "tags" that best describe the creation.
Aside from this, the "Rocket League: Starbase ARC" also has a Steam Workshop Support that enables the players to use the Unreal Engine 3 UDK so that they can make custom levels by using the Workshop uploader tool.
Of course, the content creators will need to name the creation, write a brief description about it, provide the level file and give the preview of the level itself.
Other features include the Arena Preference Selector that allows players to tag the Arenas "like" or "dislike" so that they can avoid what they do not want to battle against during the online matches. Also, the "Champion Series IV" Crate is available to enable players to unlock a Battle-Car, Exotic Wheels and many others.
