Fans of "Star Wars" will remember that 2015 had a "Force Friday" in order to launch the merchandise for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." This year has "Rogue Friday," which marks the day that products for the highly anticipated "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" finally hit shelves.

According to PRNewsWire, "Rogue Friday" is happening today, Sept. 30, and a lot of new toys and merchandise are centered on Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) and her Rogue One Squadron. The event is said to have started at 12:00 a.m. (local time) in Toys "R" Us stores around the country. Online purchases are also made available at the Toys "R" Us website.

Prior to the event, Hasbro announced the available figures that would be available on "Rogue Friday."

One of them is a remote control R2-D2. The figure is said to be programmable, and users can download an accompanying app that would allow them to control R2-D2's movements and actions. The figure requires two AA batteries (which are not included) and the app is available for free on Android and iOS. The figure is also a Walmart-exclusive.

Next is the Black Series figure of Jyn Erso that comes with a mountain base. It is a K-mart exclusive and it has a different costume from the Comic-con Erso. The base may be exclusive to K-mart, but fans can probably expect the figure to be released in the near future without the base for a much cheaper price.

The Black series also has a wearable Shadow Trooper helmet available, and reportedly has a price tag of $79.99. It comes with a voice-changer and requires three AAA batteries to operate. The helmet is exclusive to Amazon.
