Sadie Robertson Gives 3 Tips To Teenagers For Chaste Relationships
Sadie Robertson, one of the stars of the A&E reality show "Duck Dynasty," has recently showcased her faith, including tips for staying chaste, in a newly-released book.
Robertson, who is also a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars," details three tips for teenagers who want to abide by their Christian faith and stay chaste while in relationships before marriage. In her book, Live Original: How the Duck Commander Teen Keeps It Real and Stays True to Her Values, the reality show star says three tips for staying chaste with your significant other include not going into each other's bedrooms, praying before dates, and not staying home alone together.
"You could be the strongest Christian in the world, but when you're home alone it just adds that pressure," she says in the book, according to E! Online. "It's just good not to put yourself in a position where you would have to stand up for yourself."
"Keep God at the top of the relationship, because if you keep God at the top things are probably going pretty good for you," she added.
Robertson has never been afraid to express her Christian faith. While performing on "Dancing With the Stars," the 17-year-old said she wanted to perform dances that were expressive but not too sexy that they went against her Christian values.
"The rumba is known as the sexy dance, and that is not at all who I am," Robertson said recently before performing the Rumba with dance partner Mark Ballas. "So I just really hope that this week doesn't come off sexy, but it comes off sweet."
