Galaxy A5, A3 Release Date: Features and Specs Revealed
Samsung recently introduced its Galaxy A3 and A5 models – the Korean tech giant's slimmest phones to date -- which will be in the stores this month.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 features a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system, 13MP with LED flash rear camera and 5.0MP front camera, 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 16GB Internal memory + micro SD slot (up to 64GB), and 2GB RAM.
It has dimensions of 139.3 x 69.7 x 6.7mm and weighs 123 g. It has a battery capacity of 2,300 mAh.
Video capabilities include H.263, H.264(AVC), MPEG4, VP8, VC-1, Sorenson Spark, MP43, WMV7 and WMV8, with payback capability of FHD (1920*1080) at 30fps.
Audio features include Ultra Power Saving Mode, Changeable Theme (Natural, Classic, Casual, Romantic), Private Mode, Multi Screen and Quick Connect.
Google Mobile Service features include Chrome, Drive, Photos, Gmail, Google, Google+, Google Settings, Hangouts, Maps, Play Books, Play Games, Play Newsstand, Play Movie & TV, Play Music, Play Store, Voice Search and YouTube.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n); Bluetooth 4.0(BLE, ANT+); NFC (LTE version only); and A-GPS/ GLONASS.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A3 features a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Processor, 4.5" qHD Super AMOLED screen and Android 4.4 (KitKat).
It has an 8MP with LED flash rear camera and a 5MP front camera, with features such as Wide Selfie, Rear-cam Selfie and Beauty Face.
Additional features include Ultra Power Saving Mode, Changeable Theme (Natural, Classic, Casual, Romantic). It has the same video capability, connectivity, and Google mobile service features as the Galaxy A5.
Its dimensions are 130.1 x 65.5 x 6.9mm. It weighs110.3g and has a battery capacity of 1,900 mAh
It comes with 16GB Internal memory + micro SD slot (up to 64GB); 1GB RAM.
