The Droid Turbo from Motorola is all about power while the Samsung Galaxy A7 looks to combine great style with the latest specs. In a comparison, it is clear that the approaches adopted by their respective manufacturers created vastly different devices.
Design
The Droid Turbo has a plastic build, square edges and capacitive buttons which make it look and feel chunky. As for its back panels, they are fashioned from either ballistic nylon or Kevlar. As for the Galaxy A7, it comes with a full metal body which gives it a great look and feel and is incredibly thin measuring 6.3 mm.
Display
The display on the Galaxy A7 is a Super AMOLED screen measuring 5.5 inches with a resolution of1080 x 1920 pixels and density of 401pixels per inch. As for the Droid Turbo it has a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a density of 565 pixels per inch.

The Galaxy A7 comes in two versions. One has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, and a quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, while the other has an Exynos 5 Octa 5430 chipset, and a quad-core 1.8 Cortex-A15 GHz & quad-core 1.3 Cortex-A7 GHz CPU. As for the Droid Turbo it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset coupled with a quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 CPU.
Memory
The Droid Turbo comes with 3 GB of RAM and does not have a memory slot, while the Galaxy A7 has 2 GB of RAM and a memory slot which can be used to add external storage of up to 64 GB.
Battery
The 3900 mAh battery on the Droid Turbo can last for two days, while the Galaxy A7 has a smaller 2600 mAh version.
Camera
The rear camera on the Droid Turbo is a 21 megapixel version while the Galaxy A7 has a 13 megapixel version.
Price
The Droid Turbo is priced at $599 without a contract while the Galaxy A7 is expected to have a $410 price tag when it is released.
