Samsung Galaxy C9 release date and specs rumors: Device spotted with better specs than its predecessors

The Samsung Galaxy C9 has recently made headlines following rumors that the device will come out packed with improved specs and features such as new camera technology, a fast charging battery and a bigger display system than its predecessor. The upcoming smartphone is expected to be launched anytime soon in China; however, there is no report yet suggesting if the handset will ever be released in the western market.

According to numerous reports, the Samsung Galaxy C9 will sport a camera with HDR and autofocus features. There are speculations suggesting that the new smartphone from the South Korean tech giant will be carrying a 16-megapixel primary snapper paired with an 8 MP front-facing shooter.

There are reports saying that the device will certainly arrive with a bigger screen compared to the previous Galaxy C models. The Samsung Galaxy C9 is expected to sport a 5.8-inch screen packed with AMOLED display technology. It is also expected to run on a Snapdragon 650 chipset from Qualcomm and a bigger battery at 4000 mAh compared to the C5's 2600 mAh and the 3300 mAh of the C7. The report also suggests that the new handset will come with a preinstalled Android OS Marshmallow v6.0.1. As of the moment, there is no report saying if the device will be ready for the Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade once it hits the market.

The device's processor will be paired with a larger RAM at 4 GB, along with an expandable 32 GB internal storage capacity.

Meanwhile, in a report by Neurogadget, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy C9 might sport an even bigger display system at 6 inches, which bigger than the 5.7-inch screen of the Galaxy C7.

Despite the heavy rumor regarding the Samsung Galaxy C9, the company has yet to provide concrete details about its development and release date. However, interested buyers expect Samsung to make an announcement anytime soon.
