Although the South Korean tech giant has yet to confirm these rumored details about the upcoming hybrid device, fans and critics have continued to pour significant speculations about it online. According to the latest reports, a new leak has surfaced showing the front and back of the phablet.

The new leaked information quickly escalated following a post from a known tipster named Evan Blass. The Twitter post from Blass has also revealed the expected color options of the phablet once it hits the market. According to the popular tech leaker, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will arrive in Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Blue Coral color variants. What's interesting is that the leaked details did not include the Gold option, which could disappoint many Samsung fanatics.

The image also shows the rumored dual-edged display of the device. According to the latest reports, the new Galaxy Note 7 is said to be bringing back the Edge variant of the model. The company has decided not to release an Edge variant of the last iteration of the series due to some reported issues of the S Pen. Samsung is said to have fixed the problem and is ready to roll out a top-of-the-line version of the upcoming handheld device.

Nonetheless, Samsung has continued to stay mum about the development and release date of the Galaxy Note 7. Nevertheless, fans and critics expect the new hybrid phablet to come out on Aug. 2.

Meanwhile, there are speculations suggesting that Samsung will integrate the iris scanner technology on the Galaxy Note 7. If rumors prove to be true, it will be a first for the company. The revolutionary security technology allows users to unlock the device by just looking at it.

As of now, fans will have to wait for Samsung to officially announce the device.
