Samsung Galaxy Note 7 release date, specs news 2016: Hybrid to arrive with an improved S Pen Stylus
After the release of Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, the company is said to be shifting its focus on the upcoming release of Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The new hybrid phablet has been a favorite subject of discussions on various social media sites and online forums. According to the latest reports, the device will arrive with an Air Command features and an all new S Pen Stylus.
In a report by iGyaan, the Indian publication claims that their source has obtained some information from the internal office of Samsung. According to the website, the new Galaxy Note iteration will carry a much improved S Pen Stylus, which is also said to have a new design.
Apparently, the new Samsung Pen will have a new Bluetooth LE, which is a new version of this technology. This new feature is said to allow users to use the Pen for a longer period of time.
Other speculations include an iris scanner addition to the Galaxy Note 7 for phone security improvement. What's interesting is that the feature may not only be used to locking and unlocking the smartphone, it may also be used for unlocking security enabled Apps and folders.
Meanwhile, despite the lack of significant information coming from the South Korean tech giant, fans and critics have continued to share their own predictions on what to expect once the handset hits the shelves.
According to rumors, the device will arrive with a whopping 5.8-inch slim RGB AMOLED display. It is said to run on a Snapdragon 823 processor from Qualcomm, to be paired with 6 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Note 7 might also come with a microSD card for an expanded storage capacity. The current iteration of the series does not have the microSD slot, which is quite a disappointment to many users.
