Despite the company's notice to recall the Note 7, reports said that a great deal of devices have yet to be returned. In addition, Samsung needs to regain the market's trust. Hence, the tech giant might launch a new device to win the market back and boost sales for the smartphone line's succeeding products.

If the rumors are true, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 8 before its line's usual release date. On the other hand, several rumors suggested that the Galaxy Note 8 will launch in the first quarter of 2017, since this is usually when the company launches its flagship smartphones.
