Samsung has confirmed a new Note 8 phablet, and they are making sure that it will be free of all battery rooted concerns. Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 is expected to carry on the same advanced features of its predecessor.

There have been speculations that Samsung will be discontinuing the Galaxy Note series after its most recent release had exploding battery problems, leading the device to catch on fire.

However, CNET reports that Samsung has already confirmed that they will be releasing a new Galaxy Note 8.

Mobile chief D.J. Koh announced during a conference, "I will bring back a better, safer and very innovative Note 8." Koh added that one of his motivations to bring back a safer device is the group of devoted Note users who still continue to use their phablets despite the safety hazard.

After testing 200,000 Note 7 devices and 30,000 batteries, Samsung identified that there were two different battery problems that can be traced from two different suppliers, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Tech Mic confirmed that Samsung has come up with an eight-point battery check and that the company connected with a team of advisers from academic institutions such as the University of Cambridge, the University of California at Berkeley, and Stanford University to oversee the development of the Galaxy Note 8.

The new Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be launched this coming fall, but since Samsung is planning to delay the release of the Galaxy S8, the former's launch date might also be pushed back.

The new Note phablet is anticipated to carry on the key features of the Galaxy Note 7, such as the iris scanner, where it uses iris recognition for mobile safety and security measures, and the S Pen.

The S Pen will remain water and dust resistant while equipped several other features such as translation services and image creation.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to debut by the end of 2017.
