Samsung Galaxy S6 vs iPhone 6 Comparison: Review of Specs and Features
Two of the biggest phones on the market are going head to head right now in a battle for the cell phone market.
While Apple has had a successful launch of its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the Korean-based giant has the techie market waiting for its new innovation, the Samsung Galaxy S6, which it no doubt hopes will eat into the iPhone market share.
With an impressive record of 10 million units sold in just three days upon their release, Apple's latest iPhone models are selling like hot cakes. With Apple straying from tradition, the iPhone 6 came with 4.7 inches, while the iPhone 6 Plus surprised many with its 5.5-inch wide screen.
Upon its release, the Galaxy S6 will also certainly steal the spotlight as it was reported to have not just a large screen, but also an Ultra HD display. Some reports even say that it might show us a quad HD (1440 x 2560) Super AMOLED screen resolution.
With regards to the operating system, both iPhone models are running the Apple's latest iOS 8, while reports say that Galaxy S6 might arrive with Android 5.0 L.
iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are now boasting a much faster 64-bit A8 chip with M8 graphics processor, giving its users memory space of up to 128GB.
Meanwhile, some tech predictions say that Samsung afficionados may expect either a Samsung Exynos 8000 16-core processor, or a Snapdragon Qualcomm 810 64-bit processor, with accompanying 128GB on-board memory.
Claiming to improve the battery life, both iPhone's and Samsung's models are said to be capable of a 14-hour non-stop use, with Samsung boasting a 3300 to 3500 mAh battery.
