With the recent announcement of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the company's latest entry in the high-end smartphone market, fans and critics have shifted their focus on the next generation Samsung Galaxy S8. However, as expected, the South Korean tech giant has continued to stay silent with regard to its development and release.

However, several rumors including a major leak have appeared on the popular Chinese social media site, Weibo. According to a report by University Herald, a certain Weibo user has recently revealed several components of the upcoming device including its processor. According to the publication, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will most likely run on Samsung Exynos 8895 processor. There are speculation circulating all over the Internet suggesting that the Samsung chipset is way more powerful than the new chip from Apple, the A10 and the Snapdragon 830 from Qualcomm.

According to a report by Mobipicker, the Exynos 8895 processor from Samsung is built under the 10nm architecture, which basically means that the chips will perform better with efficiency even under stress. This would give the Samsung Galaxy S8 a major advantage against the others in the competition in terms of power and performance.

Meanwhile, a recent test revealed that the new Exynos 8895 chipsets have a processing speed of up to 4 GHz. According to reports, the A10 from Apple only has a maximum speed of 3.6 GHz, while the Snapdragon 830 from Qualcomm can manage a peak speed of 3.6 GHz. The current Exynos 8890 also has a maximum processing speed of 3 GHz. If rumors prove to be true, the new Galaxy S8 will definitely come out as the most powerful smartphone in the market.

As of the moment, Samsung has yet to provide solid details with regard to the new Galaxy S8. However, fans and tech observers believe that the company will launch the device early next year.
