Rumors and speculations are everywhere with the news that Samsung is developing the anticipated Galaxy S8. Some of the most talked-about specs are the artificial intelligence (AI) features and the wireless earphones.

Several tech news sites report that an AI, named Bixby, will be featured in the Galaxy S8. Sam Mobile wrote that Bixby is the result of Samsung's ownership of start-up company Viv Labs in October.

Bixby is believed to be a technologically forward bot assistant that will operate the Galaxy S8 system, but is different from the S voice technology of other gadgets. If this rumored feature is true, then Bixby will compete with the likes of Siri from Apple and Cortana from Microsoft.

Bixby will also be able to answer the questions that the users ask and run an app at the users' request. It is said to run the system of Galaxy S8 entirely, resulting in a unified look approach that Samsung has reportedly been aiming for.

However, there may be some brewing issues with Google Assistant since the search engine company has been pushing the feature to Android gadgets. And since Galaxy S8 is Android-based, enthusiasts are awaiting how the two companies will handle the possible clash.

Aside from Bixby, enthusiasts also are talking about another rumor that Galaxy S8 will no longer have the 3.5mm headphone jack, much like what Apple did to its iPhone 7. The South Korean company is said to launch a wireless earphone alongside S8, though it is still uncertain if the earphones will be included in the handset's pack.

It is said that Harman audio tech will be used for the wireless headphones, but some tech analysts say that this is not possible since Samsung has already acquired Harman before the development of the wireless headset has started.

These rumors are still unconfirmed by Samsung and so everything, still, should not be taken seriously until official confirmation comes out.
