Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date, specs news 2016: Upcoming tablet to arrive with octa-core processor, earlier launch expected?
The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has been in the rumor mill for quite some time now. According to the latest reports, the South Korean company may launch the upcoming tablet in September just like the previous iteration, which was rolled out in the same month last year. There are also speculations suggesting that Samsung has been planning to release the device this fall to compete with Apple's upcoming tablets, which are rumored to come out in September.
In a report by MNR Daily, although September sounds like a perfect month to launch the handheld device, the publication said that it may come out earlier than expected. Apparently, Samsung has already finished the development of the Galaxy Tab S3 and it is ready to be rolled out. The early release speculation surfaced following a Twitter post from the popular tech leaker Evan Blass that shows an alleged photo of the device.
Despite Blass' reputation as a reliable tech insider, critics found inconsistencies with the photos shared by the tipster. People are saying that the images Blass posted on his social media account are not the real Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Tech observers believe that it is unlikely for Samsung to release the tablet early because the company has just rolled out an updated version of the current Galaxy Tab S2.
Nonetheless, some fans are pretty positive that Samsung will make an announcement anytime soon.
Meanwhile, in spite of Samsung's continued silence with regard to the development and release date of the Galaxy Tab S3, fans and critics have already shared their predictions on the specs and features of the tablet. There are speculations suggesting that the device will carry impressive specs under the hood headed by an Octa-Core processor from Qualcomm paired with 3 GB of RAM. The device is said to arrive in two variants – one with a 32 GB onboard storage capacity, while the other one will get 64 GB storage.
