Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date, specs news 2016: Tablet to be unveiled at IFA 2016 in Berlin?
The speculations are growing that the next iteration of the Samsung Galaxy Tab is coming very soon. Just recently, it was confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be among the new device offering by Samsung for this year. Not much is known about the gadget's features, but it is expected that the launching will happen in a big press event in Berlin this week.
As reported by GSM Arena, the South Korean tech giant will unveil the Galaxy Tab S3 at the Independent Financial Advisers (IFA 2016) event in Berlin ExpoCenter City, Germany. This event will run from Sept. 2 to 7. To recall, the early rumors about the Galaxy Tab S3 claimed that the device will be released along with the Galaxy Note 7. However, the latter was announced several weeks ahead of the Galaxy Tab S3.
The Galaxy Note 7 was first released on the market on Aug. 19, where North America and Australia were the first locations of launching. As for Europe, particularly the United Kingdom, the launching of Galaxy Tab S3 may coincide with the market release of the Galaxy Note 7 on Sept. 2.
The latest specs rumors for the Galaxy Tab S3 posted by The BitBag reveal that the brand new units will have the 8-inch and 9-inch display variants, both of them sporting 2,048 x 1,536 pixels screen resolution and powered by the Super AMOLED display technology.
The rumored core specifications for the Galaxy Tab S3 include an octa-core (Snapdragon 652) SoC that contains four Cortex-A72 CPU cores and four Cortex-A53 CPU cores onboard. It is expected that the graphics requirements will be powered by Adreno 510 GPU, while the internal hardware will be supported by 3GB of RAM. Many tech analysts expect that the upcoming Galaxy Tab will have 32GB worth of built-in storage space for the base model. The amount of extended storage via a microSD card is expected to go up to 128GB, just like the Galaxy Tab S2.
Tech Radar is expecting that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be sold in the market $399. However, the price will vary according to the variant' storage amount.
