Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date, specs rumors 2016: New tablet expected to arrive this year?
Following the release of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, fans have shifted their focus on the upcoming Galaxy Tab S3. Many people expected the company to showcase the new tablet at the IFA 2016 in Berlin; however, the company had a different plan and skipped the Galaxy Tab S3 announcement. Although the highly anticipated device is rumored to come out this year, the South Korean tech giant has yet to confirm these reports.
It was previously speculated that the device will finally be unveiled at the IFA event following a revelation from a Colombian Samsung website that the Galaxy Tab S3 will make it at the affair, GSM Arena reported.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S series has been a popular tablet for people who do not want to spend much but still get the best device with impressive specs and features. Fans and critics are hoping that the next Galaxy Tab S model will retain its reputation as a budget-friendly yet amazing handheld device.
According to a report by Christian Daily, the upcoming tablet will come in two variants—one with a 9.7-inch screen, while the other one sports an 8-inch display. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will run on a Snapdragon 652 processor from Qualcomm paired with 3GB of RAM. Interested buyers also have the option to choose their preferred device depending on its storage capacity—32 GB and 64 GB. As of the moment, no report has emerged suggesting whether the device will arrive with expandable storage capacity via MicroSD.
Other features of the device will include an improved 4,000 mAh battery, an 8 MP primary shooter and a 2 MP front-facing camera. There are also reports saying that the device will most likely come out with Google's latest Android 7.0 Nougat.
