"Shameless" is to return with more silly drama when Episode 2, entitled "I'm the Liver," airs on Sunday, Jan. 18 on Showtime. Now that Fiona (Emmy Rossum) is no longer on house arrest, she will be setting herself free from her ankle monitor.

The promo video for the upcoming episode shows Fiona very happy about the removal of her "unwanted accessory." On the other hand, Lip (played by Jeremy Allen White) is also happy about his summer job, that day being his first day at work. However, things will be more difficult than he expected. The summary for the synopsis adds, "And the brutal hazing from his co-workers doesn't help."

Elsewhere, Sheila will be thinking about an offer from two lesbians she met on her way home while Frank (William H. Macy) will try, the best he could, to keep the neighborhood from "culturally transitioning" as the Gallagher's neighborhood is slowly transforming into a place of gastro bars, yoga studios and coffee shops. Behind this is the bribing of the residents to get tons of money from these small businesses.

"I'm talking about the beginning of the end. I've seen this before," Frank tells his friends from the neighborhood. "Realtors started buying up property at better than market value and within a few months the whole neighborhood was overrun with the gentry and we were forced out. Today the urban gentry is moneyed lesbians – they knock on your door, they offer you twice what your home was worth and they do it because they know something you don't. You won't be laughing in a year when you can't afford to live here."

The rest of the show will focus on other characters such as Mickey (Noel Fisher), Ian (Cameronn Monaghan) and Mandy (Emma Greenwell) joining efforts and rallying against a homophobic protest. Fiona will also confront Sean (Dermot Mulroney) about how she truly feels for him.
