'Sleepy Hollow' Season 2 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Ichabob And Abbie To Face Undead Frank

Returning from its winter hiatus, "Sleepy Hollow" saw its main characters without any demons to hunt after the death of Moloch. But this could change with the return of Frank (Orlando Jones) from the dead.

The show airs at 9/8c on Fox every Wednesday.

Its lean season was cut short in the mid-season premiere when Orion the Angel arrived and started killing all the demons. He then planned to kill all those he thought were unworthy of living in the present. Even as Ichabod (Tom Mison) and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) dealt with Orion by destroying his halo, they were left with the Headless Horseman who Katrina (Katia Winter) planned to reunite with his head. Katrina hoped this would bring him to the land of the living once again.

With a lot of characters such as Henry (John Noble), Orion and a number of demons unaccounted for, it seems that future episodes of the show will concentrate more on their whereabouts and what impact they could have on the witnesses.

The last episode titled "Paradise Lost" showed Frank Irving still very much alive. He was seen stumbling into a store and gulping from a carton of milk. In the upcoming episodes, his return will be a major shock to many. Abbie and Crane will wonder how he managed to stay alive after he apparently died while fighting Moloch. They will then begin to suspect that some dark force was behind his return and that his soul might still be under Henry's control.

The upcoming episode titled ""Pittura Infamante" will see Abbie and Crane's attention being diverted to a grisly murder that takes place at the Sleepy Hollow Historical Society. They will then discover that a dark force residing in a painting is to blame and that it has a sinister plan in mind for Sleepy Hollow. This particular episode will star Michelle Trachtenberg who will play the role of Abigail Adams.
